So many great memories of holiday's spent with John having a pint and listening to his stories in the pub. A true gentleman, our kids enjoyed lemonade and crisps watching the tv and launching the RNLI lifeboat on the counter with the change. We will not see his like again. Rest in peace John and our sympathy to all his family and friends .

Very sad to hear about the passing of Sammy. I had the privilege of being introduced to him by great friends in carrig. Many a great time we had there with him and all the locals from that day on. Was honored one day when he asked me to park our steam engine in his yard. He spent the day sitting looking at it and telling all of us great stories of those days.

Thinking of Ann on the sad passing of Sammy. She has taken care of him through thick and thin for all the years that we have known her. Sammy was such a character, and I am so happy that we met up with him last September returning home with a sack of taters and turnips which he insisted that we needed. God bless Sammy. Rip
