So sorry to hear of the passing of Sean thinking of ye all at this time.

My most heartfelt condolences to Joan, Alan, Lily, and the whole Foran family on the passing of Sean. A true gentleman, he will be deeply missed.

I watched Seán's funeral on the webcam. I was looking up a relative's funeral arrangements when I spotted the lovely photo and the words "Knockmitten Lane "What a lovely tribute paid to Seán by his son! I grew up on Killeen Rd just up from the paper mill. It was a lovely small semi-rural community and there are very few of us now who remember it as it was. The Forans were neighbours. and I remember Seán as a very handsome chap with a winning smile.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis

We were devastated to hear of John’s death this week. Our hearts go out to Joan, Sean and Mary, Alan and Lily, Niamh, Liamh, and all of John’s extended family.
John was such a special man; it was our privilege and blessing to have come to know John over these many years and across the oceans. He was such a gentle, sensitive and loving man. There are few people such as John whom I have met about whom no one has a bad word to say, and everyone would remember with such joy. When I think of a role model for a good husband, father and grandfather, and in fact, such a good man, I can think of no one better than John. He loved his family more than anything. He lived near his sons and grandchildren and was able to walk Niamh and Liam to school for many years. How special, and how rich was his relationship with them. We should all be half as lucky and blessed as him. May you rest in peace John.

It is with great sadness that Austin and I heard of John's passing..one of life's true gentleman..so soft spoken and curtious. To us over the yrs we have know him ..thinking of his Amazing wife Joan .true lady .his Sons Sean .and Alan..also Mary and Lily his beautiful grandchildren.
