Today is a sad day, I am attending the funeral of John King, a part of the FAS CYTP Loughlinstown team and the one that cut all the birds-mouth cuts for your new bedrooms, I texted to my family this morning. Their reply summed up John better than I ever could "I remember John, he was Santa in LTC, RIP John".

So sorry to hear of John's passing, as many have said... he was a gentleman and a great man to have on your side.

I knew him through Fas, golf and football and benefitted from his wisdom on many occasions, as nice a man you could not meet.

The world has lost one of the good ones.i have had great times with John ,from the golf outings ,the trips and involved with him for many years in football. He was a man of great kindness and integrity and will be sadly missed. My prayers and thoughts are with his whole family at this time.
