John wore many hats during his long life, I remember him as a B V A Rep. and travelled to many Sugar Beet Growers meetings, He was also a correspondent for the Southern Star where he covered Belgooly Show, and many other events. He had a way with words and used to publish his own paper in Courtmacsherry, he wsas involved in West Cork and the National Ploughing Association, to mention a few of his interests. May he now rest in Peace.
