We are very sorry to hear that John had passed away and only hearing it on the 14th of February.
We knew John from ladies Football and met him at many of the events. He was a real gent, sincere condolences to his family and friends, you have lost a gem.

Brian, Rory, Deirdre and Tara and the rest of the Sheridan family I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful Dad. He was such a lovely man and I have very fond memories of him and indeed your beloved Mum Rita especially at Christmas time in our house together and during the 7-a-sides - he was always smiling and laughing and was always there to help out with anything - I know you will miss him dearly but he will always be with you and I’m sure his spirit will live on in all of you and most certainly in the Club. My sincere condolences to the Sheridan family. John was my first coach when I joined Kilmacud Crokes, almost 20 years ago. Since then, he has had such a positive influence on my football and on my life in general. He is the reason behind many of the friendships in the club today. We will miss him all deeply. In particular I will miss the big greeting he would give you after every match. A legend. Claire Young (the ginnit)!
