Deepest condolences to John's family at this sad time. I. like many others, worked with John for many years on The Tote and travelled with him to race-meetings. John would go out of his way to pick me (and others) up and leave us home again after a days work on the Tote. John was a gentleman and a great person to know and to work with. He was always a helpful person no matter what the problem might be. I will remember him fondly for his friendship and the 'good deeds' he did for others outside of his work which he rarely mentioned. May you now rest in peace John and we will live on with the memory of you in our lives.

A beautiful service befitting John. He and Rita had many happy years together and we can't believe they're no longer with us but hopefully now together.

We hope to get over to see the family soon.

It's a certain, that all that knew John also knew of the charity he was totally dedicated to. John joined Across in Ireland in 1994 and became Group Leader from the start. He ensured that every i was dotted and t crossed in order that our trips abroad ran like clockwork, comfortably and importantly safely. He made sure the drivers knew exactly where they were going. We worked really hard, but we also had so much fun. We made great memories that will never fade.
Thank you John for your part in helping create those memories. We'll be sure to raise a blip in your memory. Rest in peace dear friend.
