Our heartfelt condolences to John's family. John was a throughly lovely man and a great friend and next door neighbour to our uncle Eamo. He always had a welcoming smile and loved the chats, and would regularly serenade the neighbours on summer days. A gentlman, he will be sadly missed, may john rest in peace in the arms of the angels.

We will always remember John's warm welcome when we came to live on Watermill Road, We will miss the chats and hearing his beautiful singing voice across the gardens on summer evenings. Sincere condolences to Lucille, Simon and all of John's family.
Deepest sympathy to the Ellis Family on the passing of John. I first met John more than a decade ago in Artane & later I would bump into him in Raheny when his beloved Wife was ill. He dedicated himself to her care. We would always have a chat and sometimes go for a pint. He was an absolute gentleman and I will miss meeting up with him.
