I knew John as my Uncle Sean. Sean was a man that my mom, his sister, always looked up to. And I learned to do the same. I loved hearing about Sean's exploits...particulary on the mountains. Maybe that is where I got my love of the hills from. Unfortunately we never close but he was my uncle. I only wish I had tried more to make up that distance. He was a Sweeney and I am proud of my Sweeney blood. Fiona, Aoife and Isolda & Tim's families are in my thoughts.
