Sincere condolences to the Tierney family and the passing of John. So sad to hear this news. May he rest in peace. In 2007, while on a course in NUIG, I had the pleasure of sitting beside John for many lectures. He had brains to burn! Super brainy! I always made sure I sat beside him for maths & physics as he knew all the answers!

Numbed and shocked to hear about the sudden passing of John.We have so many happy memories of him going back the years.Heartfelt condolences to Aine ,Carl and Geraldine at this awful time.

I spent two months with this amazingly beautiful man he was such a lovely man in every way you can think of I have no words to say how sorry I am he was so lovely and I will miss him
