Shocked and sad to learn of John's death.

So sad to hear of the passing of TK. RIP fella. You'll be missed.

So very sad that we won't see TK's kind smile again. My deepest condolences at this sad time.

Very sad to hear of TK's death. Heartbroken to not be able to be at funeral but my deepest sympathies to his family and friends. He had such a joy for life and I will remember him ...joking with his friends and being the life and soul of any gathering. Rest in peace my friend.

I consider my self very fortunate to have entered the hallowed halls of Blackrock College and joined as a very unsophisticated 17 year old from my country background in Donegal.
I was a fish out of water and it wasn't always an easy ride.
TK was an Ambassador for those who needed a leg up or some kindness shown to them. On more than a few occasions, he and his friend Alan Murphy made me feel welcome and that I wasn't on my own. He had a great sense of humour and was always laughing with that huge mischievous grin on his face.
Now 30 years later his kindness still leaves a long shadow. To his family and friends, I am sorry for your great loss.

My Mum Pauline worked with John for many years. We are all sad to hear of his untimely death. He was a true gentle man with a big heart and wonderful spirit and intelligence. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
