A 'Great Uncle' he definately was and I second everything said by my Dad and cousins below.
The memories of spending time at his house in West London around Christmas will live with me forever. It was like having a 2nd Christmas Day with alot of the family together and John would spend most of the day terrorised by us kids! I'll always remember the epic hide and seek games ending up in the kitchen cupboards and all sorts!
So sad to hear of his passing and my thoughts and love goes out to all the family at this time.

Sleep tight Great Uncle John.
For us kids your house was always full of fun, such happy childhood memories.
You certainly deserved the title 'Great Uncle' because you truly were.
You'll be missed but not forgotten xxxx
