Our deepest condolences to all of Victor's beloved family. Victor was a true credit to the community in Sunday's Well & it was clear that he had a real passion for the history of the area. Many of our visitors would tell us of the wonderful & enlightening conversarions they had with Victor at the front steps of the Gaol. Thank you for keeping the history alive! Rest in Peace.
Our sincere condolences to the Sullivan family on the sad passing of Victor. Fond memories of night's dancing to the Bluebell Quartet in the 60's. Wonderful musicians and the nice way they signed off at the end. I'm sure they contributed to many a happy marriage, we are one of them. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis
I have just heard of Victor’s death and if I had been aware would certainly have been at the funeral. I well remember David, Carol and Andrew in Ashton, many years ago now. I extend my sincere apologies to you. To Audrey, his sister and her family I also extend my condolences. And not least in my memories are the halls in West Cork in the 70s where we all danced the night away to the sounds of the Bluebell Quartet made up of Victor and the Williamson Brothers. We all had great memories as I’m sure his family has many treasured ones as you mourn the loss of a sadly missed father and brother.
Our deepest sympathies to the Sullivan family on the passing of Victor.
Many memories of him and the Bluebell Quartet playing on the dance circuit.

I fondly remember him at Yassi and Andrew's wedding, where he kindly, patiently, and cheerfully took the time to teach me Irish dance. His friendly and caring nature truly shone through, and he succeeded in making it a joyful experience for me. He was a wonderful, caring gentleman who will be deeply missed.

He was a lovely man and was an enormous help to us a few years ago when we had an exhibition at Drimoleague Singing Festival, the Museum of Song. He was so generous with his time and knowledge and lent us many items - including his original Bluebell Quartet uniform - for which we were greatly appreciative. May he rest in peace.

Our sincere sympathies to Carol Andrew David Audrey and the extended Sullivan families on the death of your Dear Victor. I first met Victor over 43yrs ago when playing in the Bluebell Quartet at the New Years socials in Dunmanway. What a crowd they drew. Next time I met him was in St.Luke’s Home 10 yrs ago when I attended the Sunday morning services with my Dad as he played the organ. A great addition to the service. And again 2 yrs ago as he entertained the residents weekly . He still sang with such enthusiasm as all those years ago. The home will miss him but not as much as you his family. Thinking of you all at this sad time. May the happy memories comfort you in the days ahead
