John Vincent Groarke

Only just learned today of John's very sad passing. My apologies I did not pay respects in May. I knew John originally through the Vehicle Leasing Association of Ireland, an organisation he served voluntarily for years, culminating in being its President. I always enjoyed spending time with him. He will be missed by all who knew him for his wit, humour and company. May he rest in peace.

Dear Anne & Family, I was shocked to only hear of John's passing on Friday 24th in Bunclody GC where I was expecting him to show for The Ladz Annual Outing. I am very sorry to hearing about the passing of John Groarke.

My heart goes out to you during this difficult times as I understand it was a very short illness.

There is no greater sorrow than to recall happiness in times of misery. He had a very full life and wonderful memories of happier times.

I first had the pleasure of getting to know John back in the early 70’s through dealings with Lombard and Ulster Bank. My abiding memory, on the many occasions we met over the years since then, will of him being just a most pleasant gentleman.
