He was an active member of the Johnstown/ Killiney Active Retirement Association for many years especially in bowling and our Singing for Pleasure group.

So sorry to hear of the death of John. I worked in the Irish Press with John for many years. I also played on the Press team with him and the inter department 7 a side which we won several times. After the Press closed I went on several walks with John with Harry Havelin and the ex Press men. To his family my condolences RIP
