I knew John during my time in Eircell and Vodafone and am very sorry to hear of his sudden passing. A gentle and kind soul!

So sorry to hear of John's early passing. We were in Hammies in Bandon and UCC together and I wonder where all the tears since then have gone - time flies! My sympathy to his family and may he be happy in Heaven.

I was very saddened to hear of John's passing. I knew John when he worked in Eircell and Vodafone. Every year when I look at my poor sweet peas I think of John and the magnificent specimens he grew. He was an encyclopedia on flower and vegetable growing. Loved chatting to him about his award winning show entries plus his allotment activities.

I remember John with great fondness from the Malahide Horticultural Society in the 1980s. He was kind, generous with his time and modest about his considerable expertise. Very sad to hear of his passing.
