We were deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing.
As we worked from home during the pandemic, John would often be the only other person we would see during the day. We became familiar with his routine - the morning walk with the dogs, midday cycle to Cliffony and the time spent tending his lovely garden in the later afternoon. He would always make the best of the day - no matter the weather.
We will miss seeing his friendly face around Mullaghmore. May he rest in peace.

Im deeply saddened to hear of your passing. 8 years ago you.gifted us a puppy, (Megan's son) and up until recently, even though Tidus came to us at 10 weeks old, he never forgot you, and when we would meet your gentle, cheerful presence on Mullaghmore beach, walking Dylan, Tidus would rush up to you with undisguised joy, and we would have to persuade him to come home with us. Your goodness, kindness, and gentle character shone through in all of our meetings.
Go well John, and massive condolences to your family

Sincere condolences to Claudia and John’s extended families. John will be sorely missed in Mullaghmore. To think he won’t be down at the sailing club doing up his boat or out over the dunes walking a dog is very sad. A true gentleman is gone. Rest in peace John 🙏
