I regret being unable to attend John's funeral. I have known him for years and always found him to be a very pleasant individual. He carried his illness lightly and was always ready for a laugh. My sincere condolences to helan dave and all the family!
He was a great character, so funny easy going, up for anything would talk to anyone and about anything. Words will never describe the craic I had with him and my dad out fishing/hunting, in the bog, on a job or in the pub. Everyone loved him! He was everyones friend!
It was a shame what happened in the last couple of years. But he battled through and made the most of life always!
