Corinne, Brian, David, Lyndsey, Shelley and Graham it was with such shock and sadness that we received the news of John’s sudden passing. He was always such a gentleman and we can only begin to imagine how heartbroken you all are. You are in our thoughts here in Portlaoise where John will always be fondly remembered. So many lovely memories of Esther, Jack and the boys in Tower Hill xxx

It was a terrific shock when David 'phoned me to tell me of John's sudden death. I was reminded of his father's sudden passing, albeit not as young as John. It is always the case that we all regret not seeing family as often as we might/should. However I was glad to have caught up with John, and the family a few years ago, chewing the cud of what we'd been doing, and getting up to date then. I think that today was the day of the service/internment. He was in my thoughts then, as you all where, and will continue to be.
