As a neighbor of John, I got to know him well and he always had a smile and a wave when we passed by each other, I could set my clock by him when he was heading off to work. I will miss him and our chats even when he beat me when we went for a cycle. A true gentleman and taken far too early. Condolences to his family at this very sad time.
