Many thanks to the families of Peggy and John for your kind reception on Sunday evening. Even though it is a sad occasion, Sunday evening was a respectful and appropriate memory to John. From my recollection of John, I found him to be a very diligent and focused man. As a young lad from 'the back of Leap', I depended on John to drive me to work at Spiralux Irl Ltd in Skibbereen, which was one of the first electronic factories in Ireland in the early 1980's. The one condition that John placed on our unofficial contract was 'to always be on time'. This work ethic stood to me throughout my working life and I will always remember him for that. May John & Peggy rest in peace.
