Johnny Connolly (Johnny Phádraic Phíotair)

We last saw Johnny at his amazing tribute concert in May 2016. We only saw of his passing through the new year Connacht Tribune. He was the best musician in Ireland for dancers and will always be remembered. He is a loss to Ireland and his music will live on always. Our sympathies to Patricia and his family and especially Johnny og who will keep his music alive for future generations. Thank you Johnny for so any memorable occasions. May you entertain them all in heaven with your tunes.

I never met him or had any contact with him, except for listening to his wonderful music on CDs and on the internet. But I and I am sure his many fans mourn his loss. I will pray for him and all of his family. May he rest in peace. God Bless.
