My deepest condolonces to all the family for loosing such a wonderful man. As Jay said, three generations of children grew up with him as a father figure, and that he was. Im forever greatful i got to be one of the children he father figured, to have known him and learned from him. He took time from his life to give to bailie youths, to keep us children out of trouble, thought us discipline and gave us friendships from it. We were always welcomed in his home. He thought us all so much in our childhoods, ill be forever greatful to have known him and grew up with his sons. Wonderful boys he raised. Rip Johnny, forever missed x

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Johnny’s passing. Whenever I picture him, he's smiling. He was a genuine, decent, and kind man, taken far too soon. Johnny had a rare ability to see things as they were and stand up for what was right. The world needs more people like Johnny, and it's tragic that he's gone. My heartfelt condolences go out to Dee, his sons, extended family and friends.
