Shocking news about Johnny's death. I remember playing and learning from him in those wonderful days of the Dublin folk club scene in the 60s and 70s. A nice guy and a major talent.RIP John.

So sad to hear of the passing of Johnny and quite a shock. I played guitar in partnership with him for close to 30 years and they were the happiest times of my musical life. He was an exceptional guitar player. I have so many happy memories and fun times to reminisce on.
