So shocked and saddened to hear of Johnny's passing. I met him just before Christmas, and he was in great spirits. As always, a few moments with Johnny were always uplifting, interesting, and fun. He was full of kindness and creativity.

I knew Johnny particularly on the Council of Galway Chamber of Commerce. Johnny never let things get too serious. He found fun and humour in every situation. He was the complete gentleman.
