Dear Lorraine,

Our sincerest condolences on the passing of Jon. From the way you spoke of him we knew him as a kind and caring person, a proud daddy to Zoe and Rhys. Someone who loved making memories with his family. Thinking of you Lorraine, Zoe and Rhys, at this incredibly difficult time. Sending you all our love and strength, so he may continue to live on in the happy memories of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Thinking of you and offering support in any way you need over the next few weeks, months and years. It’s hard to find meaningful words of comfort. Jon’s loss is such a shock.

We enjoyed his wicked sense of mischief, his friendship, kindness & willingness to help in any way he could. Like many, we were welcomed to your home and spoiled by his amazing culinary skills, now treasured memories of fun times together. Jon was rightly so, the proudest Dad of his two incredible kids, Zoe and Rhys. Sending you all love and strength.

So very sorry to hear of Jon's passing. Such a lovely genuine man, who had a beautiful calm positive way about him, it was infectious. We will miss him cheering on Zoey and cracking jokes with her and us at horse riding. He spoke of his kids with such joy and pride always. He loved every minute of being their dad. So sorry for your loss Lorraine, Zoey, Rhys, his dear mum and all the family. Niamh and Poppy.

Jon was the only Dad on our class WhatsApp group. He was aways ready to offer his help with homework questions or to offer someone a lift and always the first to crack a joke or make a funny comment, usually teasing the kids, in a way that only a loving and devoted father can.
On the first day back at school, a parent asked the group; Are the kids in at the usual time? and I just know Jon would’ve commented that he had dropped his up the day before, just to be sure!

Jon, you were very friendly, helpful, kind and a true gentleman, you will be truly missed.
