Have just heard the sad news. Remember Jonathan from college days in UCD in early 70's - he was always considerate, courteous and kind - an absolute gentleman and great fun too.

Deepest condolence to his wife and family - may he rest in peace.
To Margaret and all of Jonathan's family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the loss of such a lovely man. I was away for the last 10 days and have only just learned of Jonathan's passing. I worked with Jonathan for many years in CTT/Irish Trade Board and always found him to be a very supportive colleague and a most of all, always great fun to be around. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
Gary & Joanne Morrissey
Dearest Margaret and family,
Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Jonathan. What a man! Such fond memories of our time in Istanbul together, we still tell many stories from our nights out with you two. Such sad news.
Thinking of you all,

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the death of Jonathan. I knew Jonathan from School and also Blackrock baths (though l don't every remember venturing into the water). Jonathan had a wicked and droll sense of humour. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Jonathon's death. RIP. I knew him from IDA days in the 70/80s and more recently through his friendship with Brian. He was such a lovely man, with his wonderful dry humour and great chuckle. He was also an astute and effective public servant. He will be sorely missed. Jane
Margaret , my wife and I are very good friends of Lynda’s.
I had the privilege of working with Jonathan in the mid to late 70’s. We had a lot of fun together and I remember having a great weekend in his company around that time at a Freaney golf outing in Mullingar.
I am very sorry for your loss.
