Twenty-five years in Kinsale did little to improve your grasp of english;
But you did leave your mark on the many wild gardens which were subject to your favourite term of "Reconstruction "
Your skill and kindness made our gardens and Kinsale a better place to live.Not many can claim that privilege and you will be missed.

This is very sad breaking news. Czech Joe was a friend to one and all. He had a most welcoming personality and always appeared in good humour. For Joe there was no job too big nor too small. He was most helpful and wil be greatly missed by his many friends . We offer our sincere condolences to his family and large circle of friends. Called too soon to his eternal reward. I am so sorry to hear of the death of Czech Joe. He was a wonderful gifted man who had gone through so much. Thanks Czech Joe and R.I.P.

Czech Joe as he was known in Kinsale was familiar to everyone. He was a gifted worker and organiser able to turn his hand to anything. Gardening was his forte but he could cope with any problem, electrics, plumbing, roofing etc. As well as being part of the local community he maintained close ties with his own people and will be sadly missed by them, especially Michael, Simon and Marta. May he rest in peace.
