Joe was a former colleague and a great conversationalist. I enjoyed many of his stories from his travels and have good memories of the positive attitude he took to his vocation. We had lost touch over the years but I always remembered his ready wit and humour. My deepest condolences to his wife and family.

So sad to hear of Joe’s passing. I met him on Westport greenway every day for past few years. He usually mentioned the loss of his beloved dog. My sincere condolences to his family
It was with a deep sense of sadness that I learned of Joe's passing. Walking on the Greenway with a friend, on meeting Joe, we'd stop for a chat. In those short exchanges, I found him to be a wonderful conversationalist, always so engaging & witty. To you, his family, I offer my sincerest sympathy. May Joe's soul Rest in Peace.

Remembering Joe at college in Armagh. I also lived in Bridge Street Portadown. Joe’s Mother taught me in Corcrain School in Portadown. Deepest sympathy to his Wife and children and grandchildren.
