Joseph Butler

To Ingrid and all the Butler family. It is with deep regret that I learned today of Joe's passing. My mother spent 5 years in the exceptional care of Middleton House. We were so lucky to find this wonderful place for her, the kindness and care that she was given was second to none. All our family were welcomed with open arms no matter when we called and we were always offered a cup of tea when we were there. Joe, Ingrid and all the staff were just fantastic. Nothing was too much. We will remember Joe (and all the family) in our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in so well deserved peace.

Joe was hugely missed when the time came to retire from the ownership and management of Middletown House Retirement Village, not having Joe and Ingrid at the helm was such a loss to us the Residents. We missed your gentle, efficient Management Style, your Humanity, your Caring Attitude and your Attention to Detail. You were a Beacon of Light for us who needed to downsize and chose to live in your quality spacious houses in this very attractive setting.... Forever grateful for providing a Home from Home. You had the Vision, the Courage and generosity of Spirit to build 20 houses for the older persons (for the most part) to rent, be Proud of your Legacy, none to equal you in Ireland.
