Adrian and Stephen, sorry I didn't get to see you after your dad died. I was so fond of him, he was a real gentleman. I hope you are all getting through this tough time OK. May Joe rest in peace

I only discovered today that Joe had passed and I guess it's a measure of how much time had elapsed since we last met,it must be decades, but time is of no consequence because Joe had a nature and spirit that could never be forgotten once you'd met him, gentle,humorous and always great company whenever you'd meet him.Sincere sympathies to the Crofts family and to all who loved him.Rest in peace Joe,you were a true gent and a wonderful person.

I am proud to have been able to consider Joe as a friend. Time drifted us apart, but being able to catch up with him in Harold's Cross a few months ago was like stepping back in time to discover the old Joe. Have a huge store of happy memories of him. He would have been proud of you all for the dignified and moving ceremony to commemorate his life.

Thanks Joe for having been an amazing friend! I loved you! We all loved you! My Mom loved you! Do you remember bringing her boxes of shoes to choose from out to Curraheen Drive? Sincere condolences to all the Crofts family on the passing of Joe. My mother Peggy O'Callaghan worked for the Croft's family in Sunday's Well and I remember her speaking fondly of Joe. She was very fond of Joe and often recounted tales of his mischievous ways as a young boy. Always kind and always full of fun.
