Joseph Francis (Joe) GAMBLE

I was a pal of Joe for many years through College, work in ESB and Football. And we shared apartments in Dublin. I last met him in July 2018 on the 50th anniversary of our graduation from UCC.

Dear Arantza and all the family. We in Bahrain were saddened to hear of Joe’s passing this month. Joe and Arantza lived here while he was working with ESBI for around five years from 2007 to 2012. Joe was a great friend to all, both ESBI staff and EWA staff. He was greatly admired for his ability to deal with all situations, his wit and comradeship. I have fond memories of trying to play golf with Joe and Jim Owens every week on the local course, he was an expert at finding lost balls (I lost many)! Our deepest sympathy, may Joe Rest in Peace.

So terribly sorry to hear of Joe’s passing - a dear friend to our Dad, John Walsh. They so enjoyed each other’s company. May Joe rest in peace. Deepest condolences to Joe’s family.
