Dolores, I am so sorry to hear of Joes passing. I have many great memories of his meticulous organised accounting system and chatting with yourself while Joe sorted everything. Joe was part of our family from the start — my parents’ best friend since their Limerick days in the ’70s, and a steady presence through every story, celebration, and bit of mischief that followed.

He fished for salmon with my dad, travelled the world with my mum and Delores, and once told me he was sitting in a pub with my dad the day I was born — which sounds about right.

We’ll miss his dry wit, his quiet wisdom, and the way he made friendship feel easy.

Love to Delores, Morgan, Daniel, and Olga — and here’s to Joe, a good man who left us all with a few great stories.
