Joseph (Joe) BARR

We were very sad to hear of Joe’s death. He was a very kindly neighbour to us and was hugely helpful when we changed our boiler in giving us advice. He had great stories about the North also. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry for Joe's passing. We met at St. Augustine's in 1974 and we were friends ever since. I left for New York in 1979 and Joe welcomed me with open arms whenever I returned, I will miss Joe dearly

Joe I only met you over the last year in Belmont Nursing Home when I visited my sister Maeve Byrne. I really enjoyed the craic and banter with you and the Belfast stories. You had a beautiful voice.
