Sincere condolences to Auntie Eileen and all your family. I have such wonderful memories of times spent with you as a child on the farm. You always had time for us and allowed us to ‘help’ bringing the cows up ( the dogs did this really) and helping with milking. We thought it was great getting up so early but am sure that would not have lasted. Later in life you welcomed our families too. Nothing was too much trouble.

I have such lovely memories of times spent in your home, when we all would arrive off the boat from England , at the start of our summer holidays. Your Boxty, Auntie Eileen was the best. Uncle Joe was a big, strong Gentleman with the kindest eyes.
I hope that we can all get together one day soon, to give uncle Joe a proper goodbye.

"A Mother's Love's a Blessing"-from the moment Mrs Cawley felt her baby kick in her womb,she loved him:then she looked into those eyes,and loved him even more.Called him Joseph.Who could ever love him more?Later,a bonny red haired lass,Eileen Canavan from Knockmaria looked into those same Irish eyes and she has loved him too for these many years,along with all her children, their children,and all of us too.But Joe, that lovely,hardworking,loyal man of faith,was very much loved long before all of us.The Apostle John describes that powerful loveJohn3:16"For God loved the world so much,that he gave his only begotten Son,so that anyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life".How comforting to know Joe is in the safest place there is Eileen and family,in God's hands and may these words comfort your pain and great loss of a very special man. Eileen & Family, it is with great sadness we have heard of Joe’s death RIP. Joe was a great true friend of our family & especially my Father.
