So saddened to hear of Joe’s death - he fought the good fight and has earned his eternal rest ‘up above’.
Remember Joe so well from our schooldays in Kildare (Martina and I shared the same class) and got to know him again in latter years in Cill Dara Historical Society. What a fount of knowledge Joe was - and over the years, thoughtfully sent me a number of photos he had come across of ‘old’ Kildare that related to my family - thank you Joe.
