It is of great sadness that I learned today of Joe's death. What a man he was. A gentle kind and intelligent advisor. He helped us through a difficult time with care and respect. To Marie, Willie, John and myself he was a rock. Always looking after us to the best of his ability as did all of those who worked with him. Our condolences to his family. I was very sorry to hear that Joe had eventually lost his struggle with cancer. Apart from being one of the most competent and hard working solicitors in Donegal he was alway helpful and on more than one occasion helped me when I had a difficulty with a file.
