Condolences to the Gallagher family on the passing of Joe. I worked with him in the sixties when I was training. A great mentor and a gentleman. Rest in peace Joe.
My sincere condolences to Joe's family at this sad time.
I knew Joe since the early 70's when I first worked in ESB "Communications section". I have fond memories of Joe providing me with some insights into the workings of the 'Apparatus Room', which were a mystery to me, at the time. A nice man, he will be missed. May he rest in peace.

Joe has been coming to my shop for many years.
From the moment he walked in with that massive smile on his face, soon to be followed by his infectious laugh, he lit up our shop.
I became very fond of him over the years and I am just so sad to hear that he has passed.
My sincerest condolences to all his family and his friends. He will be very sadly missed.
The picture we printed and framed for him was just Joe personified.
RIP Joe, you will not be forgotten.

Our dearest Uncle Joe, a smile that could lighten up the room! Always interested in his nieces and nephews and always thoughtful. Many many years and so many memories with Maureen & Joe and our wider family. Sending our love today to Fiona, Micheal, Brendan, Katherine and Vincent & Ewa, and all our second cousins. We feel your loss. Love Karen & Michael, Mark and Brian O’D
Fiona, Michael, Lisa, David, Conor and the extended Gallagher family, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of dear Joe. He was an absolute gem and a gentleman to go with it.
We called him 'The Lord Mayor of Windsor' and he enjoyed his title and deserved it! He knew nearly someone from every household and although he didn't walk too far, he'd be out and about the Park and Drive for ages stopping to chat to anyone and everyone of all age groups. He had that lovely charm and humour that appealed to all. We loved his company and when he'd stop at our gate to see if we were at home, his face would lighten up when he'd see either or both of us go out to welcome him in to sit with us on our bench out the front where hed talk, laugh and reminisce about his younger days, his family that he adored and of course his late wife Maureen, your dear Mum Fiona.
We will miss his visits and just seeing him around the area, but people like Joe don't come into your life very often.
We were blessed and privileged that he did.
He's now at peace with his Maureen, but still looking after you all, just from above.
Rest in Peace Joe, our Lord Mayor of Windsor. Our lives are all the better to have met and known you for such a long time.
