I have such fond memories of joe from my childhood especially those weekends visiting Martie and joe what great fun we had and how special it was to spend time with the family
It was a true honour to have known joe he was a kind caring man with a wonderful sense of humour always up for the craic
The memories i have of him are ones i will always treasure 🩵

All of us here at Headway are shocked and saddened to hear about Joe's passing. He was a constant here at Headway - making lamps, St Brigid's crosses and paintings for everyone he met. The hardest (and some might say only) worker in Men's Shed. He kept everyone on their toes! And they all loved him for it...

So sorry to hear the news about Joe. We first met Joe and the family when we visited Lorraine during our university years and beyond. He was there with a smile and a twinkle in his eye, patiently acknowledging that the weekend with this lot staying was going to be anything but quiet!
