I worked with Joe in the old Dept. of the Marine where we had some good times. We shared a love of birding and Westerns (especially if Clint was involved!) and kept in touch over the years. Will miss the annual Christmas card / news update. Sincere sympathy to Joe's family, may he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Joe’s passing. Having worked with Joe and also gone birding with him even after his retirement, I knew him as a gentleman and a great company when out birding. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace
