I'm very sorry to learn just now of Joe's death and offer my sincere condolences to Marie and to Joe's children and extended family. Great memories come to mind of youthful friendship in Limerick - of CBS Sexton St., of games in Denmark St. and parks around the city, and of experiencing team spirit with Fairview Rangers (despite the "foreign games rule").
Joe was a valued friend, very good company and a man of many talents.
My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

So sorry to see the passing of a terrific human beeing and character. Joe had a deep passion for his family, for people in need of all kinds but particularly in need of healthcare.
Our thoughts go to Moll and all the children and grand children. Joe was a fantastic person to know.

My sincere condolences to Moll on Joe’s sad passing and also to the family and extended family. I was privileged to work with Joe in DEC during the late 80's and 90's.

Joe had great respect for people and was particularly loyal to his customers. He was highly intelligent and took time to provide his colleagues with great advice. At the same time he enjoyed life and was very proud of each member of his family - he would mention this on a regular basis. Joe was a gentleman and also one of life's great characters. I always enjoyed his company - especially over a few pints where we would solve the problems of the world......
