I was so sad to hear of your Dad's passing. I got to know your Dad over the last 30 years working in Rock. He was a gorgeous man and his love of his girls and of course John was so evident in how he spoke of you all. He took great pride in telling me the latest on the grandkids and still welled up when he'd recount stories of how he met Joan when they were only kids! I am sure they are reunited now and may he rest in peace with your Mum and John.

My deepest sympathy to Joe macs family and all at Blackrock and St. Gerards. Joe was the best of what rugby can produce with a great love of the game. His sense of fairness and sportsmanship always shone through. I loved his company and comraderie. I enjoyed much less playing against him as he was a challenging opponent. Vicki, and family. So sorry to hear of your Dads passing. Sorry we can't be there to support you. Just give us a shout if there's anything we can do to help. Thinking of you and hoping previous memories will ease the pain a bit.
My sincerest condolences to Joes family. He was a great man. My first coach in Stradbrook and the best. Taught us all about real passion for your team. I met him recently at a mini rugby blitz and he was as interested in the game now as he was 25 years ago when I met him first. I coach the Rock u12s and we did 3 sets of 10 50s in his honour last Sunday. We also have a drill that we do every week that we have rechristened The Joe Mac. He will live on in our group.
