Sincere sympathy to all Joe’s family on his sad passing. I was Chief Nursing Officer for a while in St Brendan’s Hospital where Joe worked for many years. He was always dedicated and caring to all the patients in his care and was held in high esteem by both patients and staff in St Brendan’s. I have just now watched his Mass and it was a truly fitting tribute to a true gentleman. May He He Rest in Peace.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of our dear friend Joe. We have fond memories of chatting with him over a pint in Tommy O'Gara's. Joe was a gentleman and a dedicated trade union official who always put his members interests first. He was always willing to give expert advice to his many friends.
