Joseph (Joe) Monks

Very shocked to hear of Joe's sudden passing. Sincere condolences to Louis, Eric, Maisie and the extended Monks family. I have wonderful memories of playing cricket with Joe with Rush C.C, going to his gigs and a trip we made to the USA. He had a great sense of humour and when I remember Joe, he will always be smiling.

I have fond memories of the early friendly rivalry between
the Pirates and the Grads from Skerries.
I always found Joe , Louis and Eric to be excellent musicians very helpful and friendly.

Eric. Belated condolences on Joe’s passing to you and your family. We were in the same class in Mt. Mellary between 1961-1964, where Joe was noted for his guitar music.
