We couldn’t let Joe go without saying how much he will be missed. We always looked forward to seeing Joe arrive at family occasions, he was always in good humour with never a bad word about anyone. He was so helpful to us when we moved in here first, even to driving his combine harvester from Batterstown to Rhode to cut our corn for us when we were stuck, making no compliment of the fact. We appreciated that Joe, and your other acts of kindness over the years. You were a gentleman through and through.

It’s with a very sad heart I wish to offer my deepest condolences to Joe’s family at this very sad time. Joe was a wonderful man that I had pleasure in meeting every other week in Dunshaughlin.
