I'm really shocked and saddened to hear of Joe's death.
It hardly seems like 50 years since we "graced" the fields of Belfield and Islandbridge and the bar in Pat McDermotts/Hourican....for the match analysis. Joe was an honorary UCD man, always there when needed. And later with Civil Service. And it was always a pleasure to meet up with him in later years. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. A legend playing with Raheny GAA. He had an amazing fielding ability being able to stay longer in flight than anyone else. Landing he would scatter all round him, grinning and winking. The joy in his play was infectious. Rest well old pal.
