Sincere condolences to Helena and family on the sad passing of Joe. He was very decent and friendly gentleman. It was a pleasure to have him as a work colleague and no doubt he will be sadly missed.

An enthusiastic sportsman, runner, footballer and sailor, Joe was also a quintessential gentleman, always beautifully turned out and blessed with good humour and a smile to brighten your day. Joe, may you have wind in your sails for your next adventure and sea gulls calling as you head to new shores.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Joe’s passing. I knew Joe for many years from his Bord Bainne days where my mother worked also plus my camera store, Bermingham Camera, that he used frequent. He was always a gentleman and a delight to have a chat with.
