Joseph (Joe) RYAN

I worked with Joe over 30 years ago in Fas in Jervis Street. Unfortunately I Only heard about his death today. My lasting image of Joe was that lovely smiling face and a bit of a joke or a friendly slagging as he walked into the Canteen in Jervis Street. He always seemed to be in good form no matter what problems arose out on one of his sites. My most sincere sympathy to all his family and hopefully he lights up Heaven as he did here.

It was with great shock I heard of Joe's untimely death. I worked with him in FAS, Jervis Street. He was always helping others with his vast knowledge. It was with great sadness we heard of Joe's passing. Like everyone else in Celbridge he had done work for us and we got to know him over the past thirty years and probably longer. Always chatty when we met and always with a smile. We both remember on a walk to the garden center last year we met him coming out of the building site that was to be his new home. He took time to show us around and the way he spoke with great joy, enthusiasm and pride (even though we could only see a foundation and a few blocks). Also, as he passed our house each day to walk his dog in the forest. He will be greatly missed. RIP
