Joe was the most wonderful man - he had time for everyone. He was talented, fun, kind & witty. He was so good to me when i was a part of the Howth Community Drama Group for many years. I have amazing memories of "Drama Fever" when we travelled around North County Dublin with Joe for workshops, he drove us everywhere & made us laugh along the way. My sincere condolences to Glenn & all his family. He spoke about you all so proudly. He is now reunited with his beloved Ethna. Rest easy Joe, i will miss you 💙

What a talented man! Joe was a fervent Taizé follower and a diligent Minister of the Word in our Church. He also used his publishing talents in the printing of the Parish weekly newsletter. Joe always was a warm support for me in our individual analysis of the Gospel.
You are missed, Joe.

He would keep me talking for hours when I used to bump into him in Dunnes stores years ago. Lots of stories about all sorts. He will be very sadly missed. Dad was telling me stories of them playing golf today.
