Our dearest Aunty Josie, there never was a purer soul than she, she devoted her life to helping other’s, giving herself so selflessly.
Her door was always open nobody was every turned away, I’m sure nearly everyone of us stayed with Jo at some point back in the day.
As kids we’d yearn for the summer so we could all knock in for one of her famous “yogurt pops”, ice pops filled in yogurt pots with cola, orange and 7up.
She’d so many stories and she told them oh so well, how she remembered every detail she’d have us under a spell.
The most kind hearted person I’m sure we all have ever known, she truly was an earth angel alas now she has flown.
whenever I hear the angelus, I’ll forever feel you in my heart.
She devoted her time and life to god and all her family, she never forgot a single birthday even in the large county and Murray family.
You could always count on her to be there to do a decade of the rosary, no matter what life threw at her indeed what came her way, she always manage to smile and joke and keep on going in her own way. I’ll miss that laugh and sitting with you by the fire, while you tell yet another fable about the life you lived.
She was an inspiration for all of us, she taught us how to carry on and to keep on praying and going when things were going wrong. your seat in heaven is waiting for you in eternal bliss.
