I met Josephine around 12 years ago in the Galway Clinic while visiting my dad.
My children were very young and she came over to me and offered to help while I was trying to juggle feeding and changing one of them.
She had no idea who I was and I thought it was so lovely of her to offer.
She was delighted when I told her where I was from and that I was in school with Laurence. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

Sincere sympathy to all of Josephine's family and friends. We got to know this wonderful lady at Abbeybreaffy. A loving and kind person, such good natured. Josephine loved to talk about Belmullet and North Mayo and share her story. I always enjoyed meeting and talking with her when I would visit there. She talked of family and friends and I could she how caring she was by her interactions with everyone.
